Abstract: 

In this article, an attempt has been made to estimate the amount of sound transmission loss in a flat oval Channel by applying the approach of statistical energy analysis. Correct Estimation of sound transmission loss in an air conditioning Channel is of great importance due to the harmful effects of noise pollution in the environment on human health. Simulation with the statistical energy analysis method is a powerful approach to estimate sound and vibration in problems in which we deal with complex and Multi-part systems; is considered. In this method, first, a system is divided into several subsystems, and then by writing a matrix equation that includes the energy exchanges between subsystems and energy loss coefficients; It is investigated from the perspective of vibration and sound Estimation.On average, the model presented in this research is able to estimate the sound transmission loss in different dimensions of the air conditioning Channels according to the experimental results in the accuracy range of ± 2.5 dB. Considering that it seems that the results obtained from modeling with this method are in good agreement with the experimental data; The results of this research can be used as an efficient approach to estimate noise in oval shaped Channels stretched in different lengths.

Abstract: 

In underwater acoustic Channels, due to the limited bandwidth, the extension of the long delay due to the low speed of sound propagation, and also due to severe time changes, the establishment of a stable and efficient communication has always been accompanied by obstacles. Therefore, the use of orthogonal Multi-input Multi-Output Multi-Carrier systems is common, but the challenge is that due to the use of long-distance rotary prefix for underwater Channels, bandwidth gain and data transfer rate are greatly reduced. The proposed solution in this paper is to use Multi-Carrier systems based on offset bank filters. By using these systems, due to the lack of rotational prefix, the orthogonal frequency division system will no longer have problems and therefore will see an increase in interest and an increase in transmission rate in its Multi-input-Multi-output type. In this article, for the first time, a Hermit pulse forming filter is used, which has more accuracy and operational power than other filters. Also, in order to eliminate the destructive interference, the equalizer of at least average squares error has been used. The simulation results show the optimal performance of the proposed subsurface transmission system in shallow water. The output of simulations and numerical analysis has shown that at the rate equal to the error rate, the proposed system has a 15% higher send and receive rate, which is a valuable achievement in complex underwater conditions.

Abstract: 

In this paper optimization of frequency offset Estimation technique based on Channel Estimation, which is desirable for frequency selective Channels and hasfast convergence speed, for using in HF Channel is addressed. Because of time variations coherence time in HF Channel is short, which leads to a severe degradation in the performance of above technique in this Channel. An optimization of said technique is proposed in which after removing coarse frequency offset Estimation and knowing residual frequency offset range, incorrect Estimations can be removed and others can be averaged to give final correct estimate. Simulation is conducted underChannel parameters with respect to MIL-STD-188-110B. the results show that proposed optimization result in improved performance of frequency offset Estimation technique based on Channel Estimation.

Abstract: 

In this paper, a combination of Channel, receiver frequency-dependent IQ imbalance, and Carrier frequency offset Estimation under short cyclic prefix length is considered in orthogonal frequency division Multiplexing system. An adaptive algorithm based on the set-membership filtering algorithm is used to compensate for these impairments. In short CP length, per-tone equalization structure is used to avoid inter-symbol interference. Due to CFO impairment and IQ imbalance in the receiver, we will expand the PTEQ structure to a two-branch structure. This structure has high computational complexity, so using the set-membership filtering idea with variable step size while reducing the average computation of the system can also increase the convergence speed of the estimates. On the other hand, applying wavelet transform on each branch of this structure before applying adaptive filters will increase the Estimation speed. The proposed algorithm will be named SMF-WP-NLMS-PTEQ. The results of the simulations show better performance than the usual adaptive algorithms. Besides, Estimation and compensation of Channel effects, receiver IQ imbalance and Carrier frequency offset under short CP can be easily accomplished by this algorithm.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, rehabilitative robots, which have received more attention in the field of rehabilitation, can help patients in the rehabilitation training and reduce therapist workload. This paper suggests the use of surface electromyography (sEMG) signals and a bidirectional neural network (BRNN) for the Estimation of the joint angles of lower limbs. The input of BRNN is the preprocessed sEMG signals and its outputs are the estimated joint angles of knee, ankle, and hip. In order to prove the usefulness of the BRNN, four normal and healthy subjects and two patients suffering from spinal cord injury (SCI) took part in the experimental tests. The healthy subjects exercised two movement modes including leg extension and treadmill at various loads and speeds, while the SCI subjects conducted only the treadmill exercise. To record useful information, seven leg muscles were used and then the hip, knee, and ankle joint angles were acquired at the same time. The experimental results showed the satisfactory performance of the proposed method in the Estimation of joint angles by employing surface electromyography signals for both groups. The proposed Estimation method can be used to control the rehabilitation robot of SCI subjects based on sEMG signals.

Abstract: 

Corals belong to Anthozoa and Cnidaria class, consisting of densely populated polyps, each of them individually lives with algae called Zugansentla. Coral reefs are one of the most important and effective factors in marine ecosystems. For this reason, conservation and restoration of this aquatic environment, especially in sustainable development programs, is mentioned. In 2011, a group of coral reef located Shahid Beheshti pier in Chabahar was transferred to safe area under investment of the ports and seaside organization. This corals were endangered due to e development of Shahid Beheshti pier project. Since the corals are subtle, sensitive, fragile and vulnerable, their displacement should be done with maximum caution in order to minimize the chances of breaking and mortality. Coral Carrier was a vehicle which forty-five days used to move coral in the development project of Shahid Beheshti pier. Qua in this period, 18, 000 corals were transferred to a proper location. The study showed that 34 and 76% corals safely relocated by coral basket and coral Carriers respectively. The results of one year monitoring significantly showed 26 and 92% survival of corals performed with coral basket and coral Carriers respectively at the level of P<0. 05. Due to the efficiency of the coral Carrier's innovative device and its reliance on coral transfer, this device can be a good alternative to the coral basket system.

Abstract: 

Land surface temperature (LST) is a key parameter in environmental studies particularly for drought monitoring. Due to the ground limitations to measure the LST on a large scale, thermal remote sensing is a unique method for estimating LST. The aim of this article is comparing between LST Estimation in single and Multi-Channel method using Landsat 8 thermal and reflective bands. Necessary ground data from meteorological stations Farabi (Khuzestan) and Karaj (Alborz) were taken to coincide with the dates and times of Landsat 8 overpasses. In this article Land surface emissivity and atmospheric water vapor content are major inputs for single and Multi-Channel LST Estimation. After correction, processing and calculation of interest, LST were estimated. For result evaluation, statistical indices such as Root-Mean-Square Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and coefficient of determination (R2) were used. Results show the high value of R2 in all LST Estimation method in comparison with ground measurement. In single Channel using band 10 highest accuracy with MAE about 1.04 and 0.98 degrees in Karaj and Farabi station was seen respectively. The lowest and highest value of RMSE is in the single Channel method (band 10) and Multi-Channel method (band 10 and 11) respectively.Study area conditions in terms of temperature; land cover and water vapor content affect the results and appropriate thermal band selection. Take-in consideration, especially using Multi-band LST Estimation method is suggested.

Abstract: 

Pricing decision is one of the most important factors in the supply chain management. If demand is sensitive to the price, pricing decision becomes more important. In this case, with a slight change in the price of products or services, the customer changes his demand that impact on chain pROFIT. In this study, a supply chain consists of two exclusive transport companies and a retail company is also taken into consideration. Each member of the system will aFFect price and then the pROFIT of chain. Transport companies have a unique feature that makes them exclusive. Companies that transport hazardous chemical material, cargo liner companies in Iran and very large cargo transport company can be examples of this situation in the problem. The transport company can be a trucking company, a third-party logistics provider, or a freight forwarder. The retailer sets the retail price; this SPECifies the demand, which in turn, is the carrying amount for the transporters. Transporters decide the freight rate and their profit depend on both the freight rate and the carrying amount. Finally, the transporter's freight rate is an input of the retailer's cost that in uences the retail price eventually. In this study, the transportation cost is divided into two categories: costs per unit of goods such as load, unload, and handling; the fixed cost per vehicle. The fixed cost includes the driver's salary, fuel charges, etc. We entered the cost per truck separately in transporters profit function that eventually led to integer linear model. We use centralized game approach to finding the optimal price of different levels. In the centralized Channel, decision makers set the retail price that maximizes the total Channel profit. Coordination of three parts of supply chain and centralized decision-making can improve the system-wide profit. A new method is developed to solve the problem. After that, different sensitive analyses are illustrated for profit function graph. The results show that in the lower level of vehicle capacity, much less profit exists, and in lower fixed cost of vehicle, even less than before. After that, different sensitive analysis is illustrated for profit function graph.
